Silk staff wear their pyjamas for Children in Need

We always like to get involved in any charitable events so unsuprisingly we decided to support the national Children in Need campaign and came up with the idea of having a "wear your pyjamas to work" day.  So today everyone rolled out of bed and came to work in their pyjamas.

People were invited to come up with other ideas to help raise money on the day and food seemed to be a common theme Our directors made everyone breakfast, serving up crumpets, croissants, toast and coffee and tea to everyones liking. At lunch time Jane made us all delicious jacket potatoes with our choice of fillings and in a mid afternoon break we tucked in to some delicious cakes and biscuits made by various members of the team.

Everyone really enjoyed the day and in total we raised £300 for Children in Need. We also discovered that pyjamas may just be the way forward as they proved to be very comfortable to work in.
