Silk Group Rise to the Sports Relief Challenge

On the lunch break of the 19th March 2010 Silk group organised a mile run around the Bolton Queens Park to raise money for Sports Relief. Everybody taking part had to raise a minimum of £5 for the charity and Silk Group would then add an extra £5 on top. The course could be ran or walked, the only condition was to complete the full course. Silk Group also gave each competitor a free pedometer to track their progress.

 

 

Joining the Silk Group team where local businesses, CLB and Dukefields, coaches from David Lloyd leisure Club, a teacher from Bolton School and Politian, Deborah Dunleavy.

 

 

A total of £425 was raised for Sports Relief and everybody enjoyed the event.
